Another fantastic week at bauma Munich 2025! The 2025 edition of the world’s largest trade show for construction and mining took place in Munich, Germany on April 7-13. Perkins attended the show to exhibit the latest off-highway power system technologies; from fuel flexible optimised engines to products & services to support the transition to electrification  – we had plenty to talk about!  ​

Perkins and our distributor BU Power Systems were on stand A4.336 to showcase the latest developments in off-highway power.

TESTING HYBRID DIESEL-ELECTRIC TECHNOLOGY

We put this question to the test with a real-life conversion of a 75 kW diesel-powered telehandler into a hybrid machine, utilising a Perkins 48V battery system to enable electric-only operation.
